I Recieved Goodies!

Good morning, Friend! I was so excited when I opened up my front door on Friday morning! Lori's Victorian boot Christmas stocking arrived! Boy oh boy did she send me a bunch of goodies too! I'll take pictures and post them soon! Thanks so much, Lori!!!!! I love my boot, especially that adorable little hummingbird on there! Oh, you will all get to see real soon, I promise!

I do have a couple of pics to share this morning. My baby cockatiels seem to know how to get into all kinds of trouble, and this past week was no exception! I was trying to put Lori's stocking together and the kids where out playing at the same time....well, the pictures speak for themselves! I'd like to introduce my young'uns....Bandanna, Tux and Pearl!

Bandanna and Tux were pulling the pins out of it almost as quick as I could put them in, and Pearl was trying to cut all of my threads for me!

Bandanna and Tux only look innocent in this one...they are just letting Pearl take the rap for them! She had a ball unthreading my needle. Once she did that, Bandanna took the thread and pulled it half way across the table!

This is Tux "handing" me pins. She stood and took them out one by one and dropped them on the table! Rotten kids!

Also, I have a cute picture of my kitty, Speckles. She loves to sleep on the back of Daddy's chair when he's not home!

Well, I plan to start decorating for Christmas today. Yeah, I know....kind of late to just be starting, but with all that has been going on here lately, I just haven't had time! So....better late then never, right?

Have a great day,

Over The Ground Lies A Mantle of White

Good Morning! Well, tis white here in Muncie this morning! It's so pretty, unless you are out driving, whereas there have been no salt shakers out yet today. Slippery drive first thing today!

Anyhoo, I have pictures of my Victorian boot Christmas stocking to share this morning. I am swapping with a wonderful gal named Lori. She is one of the best gals in the world! I'm hoping she likes it as well as I do. This little beauty is going to get stuffed with sewing goodies and sent off to Connecticut here in the next few days. Here is a close up of the center reindeer on the first side.

And here is a close up of the reindeer on the second side.
I can't wait to get my stocking in the mail....should be getting it in the next few days! I'm so excited!

Well, I'm off to bed for this morning. Catch ya'll later!

And for my first memory...

I thought that I'd start of with some pictures of my Christmas Ornaments! I made these for CQ for Newbies over on Yahoo Groups. I was a bit late with them as I have been having family health issues, but I don't think too many of the girls are mad at me for it! These 4 ornaments were going to be just 2...but I decided that most of the time no one sees the back of the ornies, so I may as well make 4 one sided CQ ornaments rather than 2 double sided ones. I hope the girls who recieve them enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Well, for now that would be all, as I am on my way out the door to take some things back to Lowe's. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful day!
